Andrew Wild
Head of Legal Practice
Andrew is our head of legal practice and has overall responsibility at First4InjuryClaims for all things compliance and finance-related, making sure that our team adheres to the law and provides the best service possible to our clients.
He is a qualified solicitor and has gained valuable experience at firms including WNS Legal Assistance, Leech & Co and Berrymans Lace Mawer.
Andrew's favourite parts of his role are working with his team and building a strong reputation for First4InjuryClaims. Outside of work, he enjoys keeping active by cycling and playing cricket.
He loves spending time with his wife and two children and holds a Manchester City season ticket.
Lee Hamilton
Operations Manager
Lee has held operational management positions within legal practices for over a decade. At First4InjuryClaims, he is responsible for creating the operational infrastructure and overseeing the day-to-day operation of the firm.
He works to continually develop our people, systems and processes and supports our growth plans.
He is excited about the fact we are bringing together a new team to achieve our goals.
Lee also volunteers as a taxi driver for his kids, getting them to and from their various sporting activities.
When he's not doing that, he enjoys playing football and watching a good box set or film.
Helen Jolly
Senior Legal Practitioner
Helen is a senior legal practitioner here at First4InjuryClaims, where she uses her experience and knowledge to help the team and our clients.
She has spent 14 years in the legal sector, previously working at Lyons Davidson.
Helen qualified as a solicitor in 2014 and has been responsible for running cases from conception through to trial.
In addition to managing her own case load, she has been a supervisor. This involved providing advice and guidance to her team and wider department, something she continues to do for her First4InjuryClaims team.
In her spare time, Helen enjoys travelling. Seeing new countries and experiencing new cultures and cuisines is a real passion of hers. She loves to cook food from around the world and is a big fan of MasterChef.
Julie Hughes
Senior Legal Practitioner
Julie is responsible for our litigation department, handling multi track and complex personal injury claims.
She works closely with our head of legal practice and head of operations, ensuring that all supervisory, risk management and SRA Code of Conduct requirements are achieved, whilst ensuring the team provide industry-leading standards of customer care.
With over 25 years legal experience including roles such as head of personal injury and head of operations, Julie has developed a unique set of skills. With an empathetic approach, she has experience in dealing with claims in excess of £1m, including fatal injuries, brain injuries, quadriplegia, spinal injuries, limb amputation/crushing and degloving.
Julie values being part of a forward-thinking law firm in an ever-changing industry.
In her spare time Julie enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys the gym, HIIT classes and hiking.
Claire Field
Senior Legal Cashier
Claire is the senior legal cashier here at First4InjuryClaims. She joins us with over 30 years’ experience working in the legal sector.
She previously spent 20 years in legal practice in a senior finance position. This was followed by over 13 years as a legal accounts consultant and trainer with a leading software company.
Claire is excited to be back in legal practice dealing with all things finance.
When she’s not at work, Claire enjoys baking, including wedding and celebration cakes.
She also enjoys a game of golf, as well as spending time with her family, including her two lively springer spaniels.
Ben Jones
Senior Fee Earner
Ben is a senior fee earner here at First4InjuryClaims. This means it's his responsibility to guide clients through the claims recovery journey, advising them along the way and helping them navigate the newly reformed claims process.
He uses his decade of legal experience to offer guidance to the rest of the team, as well as reassure our clients and help some of them recover their lost confidence.
Ben has previously worked at Minster Law and Hebble Law, dealing with mixed case loads of claims worth up to £25,000.
When he's not working, he can be found following Manchester United, carp fishing (often unsuccessfully) or trying to stop his young son from climbing and leaping off anything and everything.
Jonathan Meeson
Portal Fee Earner
Jonathan has joined us from Minster Law, where he worked in portal fee earner and non-portal fee earner roles.
With the knowledge he's gained throughout his career and law degree, he processes claims through the portal here at First4InjuryClaims, helping to reach the best outcomes for our clients.
Working with the government's Official Injury Claims portal and running cases in such a new system is what he most enjoys about his role.
Hockey and cricket are some of Jonathan's favourite pastimes, as is Netflix when he's taking it easier.
Vera Timofejeva
Small Claims Fee Earner
Vera is a law graduate, coming out with a first in her degree and having completed her Legal Practice Course (LPC).
She is responsible for handling a caseload of personal injury claims being conducted within the new Official Injury Online (OIC) Portal. Vera deals with personal injury claims from liability response to settlement
Her favourite part of her role is the opportunity to talk to so many different people and get them the help they need at a difficult time.
When she's not at work, Vera loves cuddling up with her cats on the couch.
Ramneek Panesar
Small Claims Fee Earner
Ramneek is a first-class law degree graduate from the University of Huddersfield.
Her outstanding work has led to a recent promotion from claims assistant to small claims fee earner.
Ramneek says her favourite part of her role is providing a high level of client care as she helps clients who have been injured in accidents that weren't their fault.
Outside of work, Ramneek enjoys all things beauty-related and has a passion for baking new recipes.
She also enjoys attending music concerts and trying out new restaurants.
Saffron Stevenson
Small Claims Fee Earner
Saffron joined the First4InjuryClaims team as a Claims Assistant after attaining her Law degree from the University of Lincoln in 2019. Her stellar performance has led to a promotion to Small Claims Fee Earner.
Saffron is responsible for handling personal injury claims, from liability response to settlement or litigation.
Away from work, you will find Saffron watching her beloved Huddersfield Town. She also loves spending time with her dog, visiting museums and art galleries on weekends away and going to as many concerts and festivals as she can.
Lauren Cobbold
Claims Assistant
Lauren is a University of Huddersfield, where she studied law with criminology.
She is proud to be part of the team here at First4InjuryClaims and enjoys working with team members experienced in the legal industry.
She will be here to listen to and help clients who have been injured in road traffic accidents and get them the support they need.
Outside of work, she loves reading and spending time with her family.
Abbie Hill
Claims Assistant
Abbie joined the First4InjuryClaims team after graduating from Huddersfield University with a Masters in Law and Practice in 2021.
She most enjoys working with a great team, where everyone focuses on looking after their clients.
When she's not working, Abbie loves spending time with her family, particularly her partner and daughter.
You could also find her getting stuck into a good book or video game.
Emily Greenwood
Claims Assistant
Emily is a History and English Literature graduate from the University of Huddersfield.
She is excited about starting her legal career as a claims assistant with us at First4InjuryClaims, as well as enhancing the skills she developed during her degree. She also enjoys learning about the law from her experienced colleagues.
One of her favourite aspects of her role is being part of a team working together to help clients.
Music is an important part of Emily's life - outside of work, she enjoys ballroom and Latin dancing and going to gigs. She also spends her time reading and visiting museums.
Alice Bradshaw
Claims Assistant
Alice joined the First4InjuryClaims team after graduating from the University of Law with a Masters in Professional Legal Practice.
She has valued beginning her legal career as part of a strong and experienced team.
At work, Alice most enjoys using her legal experience to help clients who were hurt because of someone else's actions.
When she's not working, Alice loves spending time with her partner and taking trips to the theatre to watch her favourite musicals.
Aarzoo Ali Awan
Claims Assistant
Aarzoo joined the team after completing her LLB. She is currently working towards achieving her LLM LPC, giving her a firm grasp of the law.
She uses that knowledge to provide outstanding care to First4InjuryClaims’ clients.
When asked about her favourite part of her role, Aarzoo explained that she’s “excited to be a part of this amazing team”.
Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, spending time with her family and trying out new places.
Codie Gilbertson
Claims Assistant
Codie is the newest member of the First4InjuryClaims team, joining us after completing an apprenticeship with a law firm in Wakefield.
Keen to put her extensive customer service and administration experience to good use, Codie says she is also looking forward to helping people in her new role.
Outside of work, Codie enjoys finding and exploring new places with her family and friends.
